Yesterday we told you that many users were experiencing issues with Do Not Disturb, well today Apple has admitted that they are aware of the problem and working on fixing it. In a detailed in a support article on its website Apple notes that the Do Not Disturb functionality found within iOS 6 is currently acting out, however it will return to normal functionality after Jan. 7, 2013.
Until Apple’s fix goes in place, the company advised you to manually turn the feature on or off.
To turn off the scheduling feature, tap Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb and switch Scheduled to Off.
Readers might remember that the iPhone has a history of New Year’s bugs, in 2011 there was a bug that prevented non-repeating alarms from ringing. When the bug became known, Apple suggested that users set recurring alarms until Jan. 3 of that year, when the alarms automatically began working again properly.
No words yet as to why they will start working again on Jan 7th, what do you think?
The apps should be designed in such a way that no issues occurs in the future.The customers should satisfied for their purchase of their apps.
