In this video, you will learn how to add design elements to a UIViewController and how to layout the elements so they look good on the screen.
Video 3 – How to Design Custom Views in a UIViewController
In this video, you will learn how to design the three sub-views you see on the Home screen and how to add them to the main view while configuring them to have different parameters.

Is there any particular reason you used a gradient image rather than a CAGradientLayer in video 2?
Nope, no special reason. Just a matter of prerefence…. Of course, you can use a CAGradientLayer too.
I found your article quite interesting. If apple intends to sell this many iphones this year, apps are going to become more relevant than they already are. Your imaginative approach is quite interesting.
