I still use business cards because I like the personal interaction with people when I hand them out. It also helps them remember me for the future.

Sure hope I win these cool looking cards. Eager to hand them out!

    Why still use business cards?

They are a bridge between old and new. I can give someone a business card with my online information and that is where our conversations will continue. This is particularly important when talking to a business owner about taking their business online.

While it would be nice if everyone used Bump, that simply isn’t the case yet. You need to be able to hand people something physical. Eventually they’ll put your info in their phone, scan your card, whatever, but you still need that physical exchange. I love that the cards you’re giving away aren’t just plain rectangles, because it helps make the card more interesting and as a side-effect, you are more memorable.

Because bump app isn’t in built on phones like NFC, to allow for sharing. Plus when u hit a car u still need to drop a card underneath the car’s wipers

I think people still use business cards, because it’s easier to remember you met someone, when you have that physical card in your hand, rather than just an entry in your phone’s address book.

OMG these cards look cool as hell. I try to do everything in a paperless way, but I have a need for sharing my contact info in fun and creative ways. Some folks just are not tech savvy, but they’re mad cool and I’d love to give them a way to stay in touch. I never think to print them up, though. I also guess that means I’d have to actually answer my phone once in awhile.

    You guys rock.

A business card is very personnal. It refflect your personnality and you can want the other person to touch it, feel and and tell you how your card is nice. The digital world will only allowed you to share your informations in a screen. ONLY 1 sense will be affected … the sight …

Having a personalized business card will help a person match a card to a face better than some text on a phone. Plus, those rounded cards look quite delicious!

I use them more as calling cards.

My father always said, first impressions are very important. When meeting a new client or vendor, having an impressive eye catching business card will give them a positive view of you.

Business card is identity of person and if you have biz card with you it reflects special feeling for that person as people do check that card once maybe becuase the card is very good or just a check but important thing is they do check it once which is a huge advantage over the process in which you call person n explain about ur biz n expect feedback from him but once you are separated from him person will completely forget about ur explanation or views mostly bcoz everyone is so busy but biz card gives a chance where user checks them at least only once to know whether its useful or not.

Universal contact sharing tech isn’t ubiquitous enough yet; sure there are great apps on Android and iOS, but nothing that everyone has without having to install yet another app. I do use QR Codes from time to time, but swapping business cards is still the most common and most widely accepted form of swapping contact info. Plus, a well designed business card can add to a great first impression!!!
