I’d be interested to read David’s insights on App monetization and marketing strategies. I released my first application Hearts Pro a few months ago into a crowded field of competing Hearts apps. I’m still struggling with the best way to monetize the app (lite version, in app purchase, iAds, etc.) Thanks for posting the interview!

Developers often have great million dollar ideas but don’t know how to take their creations to the next level. I’m hopping to learn more about how to take my ideas to different dimensions of success.

After seeing The Social Network I realize that the only way that I’m going to create my fortune is to learn how to write code and develop awesome apps that everyone wants to use. I’ve started working on my first mobile app, which is in the travel category. We’re hoping to make a truly high quality, killer app, and I’d love to read this book to see what insights, tips, tricks, etc. we can pick up so we can really knock it out of the park with this app. We’re already off to a great start, but hearing the wisdom from folks who’ve actually published apps would be a tremendous help in having a well polished app, success at the App Store (ours will be a free app, but we still want to have good uptake and the best experience for our users).
