Hello. the most interesting part for me is how Phonegap interacts with native device capabilities (file system, sensors etc)
Hope that will help you and also help me to win
Cheers, Vlad
What interests me the most is simply that it covers PhoneGap, which I’ve explored a little, but would be useful to have a recipe-centric book that covers various aspects of it from the basics to more complex native-code plugin development.
I am in search of an API to create native applications for multiple types of mobile phones. I have considered PhoneGap as an option for doing so, so this textbook would be an excellent resource for me. The sample chapter looks excellent as well.
Enjoy your week!
Learning about working with audio and video
Hi
I’m pretty much interested in everything. I’m planing to learn development for mobile devices. I have a background in web design so I’m looking for HTML5 solutions. Phonegap is my first choice.
Cheers
Make a multiplatform app natively would interest me as I would plan to use this in my devloping
From cookbook’s perspective:
1. Displaying network connection status.
2. Chapter 7: User Interface Development with jQuery Mobile
I am interested in the jquery layout
Having this book would be a great opportunity to improve my skills in Phonegap Apps development.
I’d like to learn how to enhance my Phonegap applications by creating custom plugins built using custom native code.
I’ve been a Phonegap developer for a year, and I’m trying to cover all my clients needs.
That’s why I would like the book for.
This book is great when addressing the development on parallel platforms, and integrating content.
I have to convince the guys I work with that doing an iOS app with phonegap can be just as good as an app written in objective-c. I need every tool at my disposal to make a great app and get them on board. This book will go a long ways in doing that!
The part of Phonegap that interests me the most is the build tool, which aims to free the developer from system requirements, and downloading/configuring all of the SDK’s for the various platforms.
The native plugin development chapter looks really interesting too, as it allows you to really fine tune the application for certain platforms, while still allowing Phonegap to manage the core functionality across the targeted devices.
I’ve already got a fairly sizable and complex app developers for iOS, but we’ve been considering for some time porting it to other platforms. I’d love to see more of the nuts and bolts of Phonegap to see if would do what we want and if it’d be worthwhile to explore for our cross platform needs.
Hello,
I would love to win a copy of the book.
The parts that interest me specifically are chap.1 about using the accelerometer and geoloc,
and chap.7 about the user interface development.
Best regards,
Regis
